A Chance to Win £100

At the end of the Summer Term, after the formal exams have finished, we encourage our AS Philosophy and Religious Studies students to enter the BMS Farmington Trust Essay Competition. This is an in-house event which reflects the ties that we have established with Harris-Manchester College, Oxford, the Principal of which is Chair to the Trust. The essay considered to be the best by an independent judge or judges receives an award of £100. As you will see below the winning entries are of a very high standard indeed.
