PROLONGED ABSENCE

SHOULD YOU EXPERIENCE A PROLONGED ABSENCE FROM BMS THERE IS A LOT OF WORK YOU CAN DO INDEPENDENTLY BY FOLLOwING THESE STEPS:

1) Do not panic or fret. You will not be the first or last to experience this problem. All will be well.

2) Email Dr Rowley for specific advice and support:

  arowley@bedmod.co.uk

Dr Rowley will make suggestions and set work. you will be able to email your responses to him and receive feedback in the same way.

It is very important to keep in regular contact in this way to stop you from feeling isolated.

3) Use the time to catch up on reading and revising what you have done so far.

4) Make use of the AQA website (search - AQA Philosophy). You will access the specification, past papers and mark schemes, etc.

5) Use the AS and A2 resources tabs in the left hand column of this site. There is a lot of useful material and leads to be found there. You might also wish to make use of the revision guides by clicking the icon on the left.

6) Explore relevant information on the Spark Notes site (search spark notes and go to Philosophy).

7) Do not neglect your textbooks, especially the AS and A2 course specific books. You can always read ahead! Follow the sections; you know what you have done so far, at least you should work through the next section or chapter.
